The committee also hears bills related to the State Compensation Insurance Fund, the Department of Insurance, and the "business of insurance" generally, including issues such as insurer solvency, trade practices, etc. Senate Insurance Committee hearings for the 2023-24 Legislative session meets 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 1:30 P.M. in Room 2100, 1021 O Street.
